Fairtrade Fortnight in Norfolk 2008

Churches

Becoming a Fairtrade Church

To become a Fairtrade Church, three goals must be met:

To apply, please send written evidence under each goal to the Fairtrade Foundation, Room 204, 16 Baldwin's Gardens, London EC1N 7RJ. You will then be issued with a poster certificate. For more information telephone (0)20 7405 5942 or email mail@fairtrade.org.uk.

You can download some suggested goals (? KB, DOC) for a Fairtrade Church of England Diocese, and visit the Fairtrade Foundation website for more about converting your church.

Fairtrade and Worship

If you would like some ideas about how to incorporate fairtrade into worship, then you could use the Fairtrade Foundation Church Action Guide (? KB, PDF file).

Church-based events

If you are planning an event for Fairtrade Fortnight (taking place around the end of February and the beginning of March), or some other time during the year, you may find it useful to check out our advice for event organisers.
