- Choc-a-lot (? KB, PDF)
- Detailed outline of activities for a day workshop which introduces young people to the issues behind the global chocolate industry. It enables them to find out the facts, develop a wide range of skills and have confidence to take action for change. Themes include:

- Make Your School Fairtrade Friendly
- Launched in October 2005, this pack is designed for primary schools and provides a wealth of information, learning resources, lesson plans, photos, songs and lots more. From the site you can download the pack, view the image gallery, play interactive games and order the accompanying CD-ROM.
- Milking It
- Oxfam's excellent, new on-line resource on small farmers and international trade. Compare the lives of two dairy farmers in very different countries. How are they affected by international trade rules? Who makes these rules, and what can we do to change them?
- Passion for Fashion (? KB, PDF)
- Outlines the programme for an action-packed one day event which enables participants to explore the global fashion industry, and find answers to issues of ethical trade and workers rights.
- Pa Pa Paa
- The Day Chocolate Company has just launched a new Pa Pa Paa teaching pack about Fairtrade, cocoa and chocolate with Comic Relief. The website is supported by a DVD and photo pack. The DVD comes with 10 double sided colour photos showing the Bean to Bar story, examples of Social premium funded projects and different aspects of life in cocoa growing communities in Ghana. - Objective 1: To assess a piece of group work discussion where ideas on Fairtrade are explored and where leaflets and posters are evaluated for factual content and persuasive language style. Students will complete peer assessment during the lesson. Homework is to research the subject of Fairtrade further and present an individual oral piece, which can be used for assessment.
- Objective 2: To assess individual oral presentations exploring Fairtrade issues. To listen and make guided notes. To set up a written task where moral issues relating to Fairtrade are explored in writing for next lesson.
- Objective 3: Students write a formal essay to analyse, review and comment on the topic: It is our moral duty to buy Fairtrade goods wherever possible.

- Analysing a Fair Trade leaflet

- Objective: These activities are ammended versions of several Key Stage 3 sample activities for unit 7.3 Creating a Leaflet. They enable the students to study a real, professionally-designed leaflet to understand the purpose of corporate image, design layout and logos. The activities show students what questions to ask when evaluating a piece of work and what criteria to use when assessing their own work.
