FTiN needs new committee members!
Ongoing, monthly meetings, additional events
- As Rhiannon is coming to the end of her degree, sadly she will soon be leaving Fair Trade in Norfolk. This means that we are looking for someone new to take over the role of Secretary for FTiN! The voluntary role mostly involves taking care of emails, and so can mostly be done from a home computer with internet (of course). It involves tasks such as:
- replying to queries (or signposting to relevant other people and organisations);
- volunteer co-ordination for events organised by FTiN (sending out volunteer requests to the e-mailing list & co-coordinating the replies);
- and booking rooms for meetings.
Additionally, we need a treasurer and a chairperson. We will be electing our committee members at the AGM on Thursday 12th June. Anybody is welcome to apply for any of the posts.

To make this possible, we set up a monitoring group to work alongside FTiN to ensure that commitment to fair trade in Norwich keeps growing. This group meets 3 to 4 times a year and is responsible for co-ordinating the research and submitting the evidence of progress to the Fairtrade Foundation.
